“ I had the clam strips with fries and coleslaw. Added a side of mashed potatoes and gravy. Everything was cooked perfectly and very tasty. Had the peanut butter pie for dessert, which was rich without being overbearing! Everything was delicious and homemade to perfection! ”
“ Terrific experience, outdoor dining at Captain Con’s Fish House today. Our server, Karen, couldn’t have been more welcoming allowing us to sit down outside before the restaurant opened. When opened- She gave exceptional service. She was quick, kind, and our food was delicious, exactly what we wanted. We love this place. Great ambiance. Love the vibes. ”
“ Old school quaint, no frills place and food with an accompaniment of Florida charm from the people serving. Wonderful location, this isn't Michelin dining, but who wants Michelin in Florida?? It was quiet when we arrived, we were met with a smile, and everything came out in short order. The captains plate was massive. I could not eat it all. It was all fried, but it states that on the menu, it was all good, accompanied by a nice cocktail sauce (they also have tartar at each table) My wife had roast beef with gravy which she loved. And we took home rhubarb pie to have another day. These guys were hit hard by Ian, not as hard as many, but hard enough and they are still managing through damage, and kudos to them it doesn't show one bit. We will be back. I want to try the mussels. ”
“ A great destination place to soak up local color. Indoor and outdoors seating. The place sits on the farthest point on Pine Island. You can view the bay all around you. ”
“ Great little local gem tucked away on Pine Island. Eat at the bar and enjoy the banter with Daniel, who has excellent menu suggestions and is very friendly. Serving portions are generous. Food was outstanding. Definitely get the grouper, the chowder and the chocolate coconut cream pie. Great value. Easy drive from Cape Coral. Not a tourist trap either, which is nice. ”
“ This is a great place with friendly servers and a fantastic view of the water. It wasn't busy outside where we were sitting in the shade, watching the pelicans. No liquor here. But we each had a huge beer, very reasonably priced. The entire place was decorated for Christmas. Including a Christmas tree in the ladies. As I was leaving I noticed a small bar in the back that looked like it was filled with regulars. Something to check out next time along with the seafood. ”
“ Really really good food. Really good service. Famously delicious pies. A perfect view. What more could you want? It's a Pine Island landmark. Enjoy the old school vibe in this super casual place. We were here 20years ago and are so happy it survived the pandemic. ”
“ At first, we thought it looked mediocre, but we had grouper, shrimp wings, and onion rings. It was GREAT! We not only had great food, but we sat at the bar, and the bartenders were super friendly and great conversationalists! Karaoke sjnger was outstanding. We had a great night! ”
